Manmeet Singh Bhullar School
Tomorrow, May 2 is Hats on for Mental Health Day. If students would like to, they are encouraged to wear a hat to show support for positive mental health. Mental health is important for everyone. Just like it is important to make sure our bodies are healthy, we need to make sure our minds are healthy too. When our minds are healthy then we feel good about ourselves, our relationships, and our life. A healthy mind means that we are optimistic, have a strong sense of self-esteem, feel loved, and are ready to take on challenges. By wearing a hat tomorrow, we are showing that we think it is important for us to have healthy minds and are dedicated to helping others have healthy minds too. If you decide to wear a hat tomorrow, please ensure that it is school appropriate and does not distract from the learning. We are very excited for our in class FoodImpact presentation by Byblos Bakery. This is a presentation on the importance of healthy eating and healthy choices. Students will receive a snack during this presentation. All food is egg and nut free and produced in a nut free facility. There is also no meat for students who follow a vegetarian diet. Please return the signed form and $3.00 by Monday May 7th. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions or concerns. Comments are closed.
